Service Description
Join Clare or Leanne, experienced SSI instructor Trainers, in an open and supportive learning environment designed to facilitate your questions and allow you to learn at your own pace. This comprehensive eight-day course covers all aspects of the SSI training syllabus. Throughout the course, you will receive personalised updates on your progress, with direct support to ensure you meet the standards required to become a credible and confident SSI Instructor. On successful completion of the course and Instructor Examination you will be eligible to: - Supervise and issue recognition or certification for the following programs; Try Scuba, Basic Diver, Referral Diver, Indoor Diver, Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, Experienced Diver test, Scuba Skills Update, Advanced Adventurer, Perfect Buoyancy, Diver Stress & Rescue, Enriched Air Nitrox & Science of Diving. - Complete free upgrades for computer diving, marine ecology and explorer speciality instructor. - Qualify to before a specialty instructor for other SSI speciality programs. Pricing: - The cost of this course is based on the training being completed at Vivian Quarry North Wales. - The Open Water Instructor materials will be additional to this course training fee. - Additional costs for transport and accommodation will be applicable to courses requested outside of Vivian Quarry, North Wales. - You will be responsible for paying for any additional items during the course such as air fills. - £500 deposit required to book course dates. Requirements: - Be 18 years of age or more - To take this course you must be a qualified SSI Divemaster or equivalent. - Have Enriched Air Nitrox 40 or equivalent - Have logged at least 60 open water water dives totalling 40 hours or more. - You will need to have all of your own diving equipment. - You will need to have a physician signed medical - To attend the 2 days Instructor Examination at the end of the Instructor Training Course, you must have been a qualified Open Water Diver for 6 months minimum. Dates: The dates listed are the first days of the 8 day course. For instance the 1st of March will be the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th of March.
