Service Description
Join Clare or Leanne, experienced SSI instructor Trainers, in an open and supportive learning environment designed to facilitate your questions and allow you to learn at your own pace. This comprehensive four-day course covers all aspects of the SSI training syllabus. Throughout the course, you will receive personalised updates on your progress, with direct support to ensure you meet the standards required to become a credible and confident Assistant instructor. On successful completion of the course you will be eligible to: - Supervise and issue recognition or certification for the following programs; Try Scuba, Scuba Skills Update and Perfect Buoyancy. - Directly supervise and evaluate surface skills during open water training dives for open water diver program under indirect supervision of an active status instructor. - Complete free upgrades for computer diving, marine ecology and explorer speciality instructor. - Qualify to before a specialty instructor for some SSI speciality programs. - Complete the Instructor training course. Pricing: - The cost of this course is based on the training being completed at Vivian Quarry North Wales. - The Assistant Instructor materials will be additional to this course training fee. - Additional costs for transport and accommodation will be applicable to courses requested outside of Vivian Quarry, North Wales. - You will be responsible for paying for any additional items during the course such as air fills. - £400 deposit taken to book course dates, and the balance due 6 weeks before training starts. Requirements: - Be 18 years of age or more - To take this course you must be a qualified SSI Divemaster or equivalent. - Have Enriched Air Nitrox 40 or equivalent - Have logged at least 75 open water water dives totalling 50 hours or more. - You will need to have all of your own diving equipment. - You will need to have a physician signed medical Dates: The dates listed are the first days of the 4 day course. For instance the 1st of March will be the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th of March.
